Thank you for your interest in Teddy!

The University of New Hampshire Large Pelagics Research Lab (LPRL) has embarked on a fourth season working with leatherback turtles in their foraging grounds off of Cape Cod, Massachusetts,. Since 2007, they have satellite tagged twenty-two leatherback turtles including ten males, five females and seven sub-adults. The Large Pelagics Research Laboratory serves to promote research on the large pelagic species of the Atlantic including tunas, billfish, sharks and sea turtles. The long-term goal of their research is to establish comprehensive information on highly migratory Atlantic species that can lead to improved fisheries management and stock rebuilding.

In support of wildlife conservation and in particular for our namesake, we adopted Teddy, a sub-adult leatherback turtle.
